Egg Easter Bunny

This is one of the Egg Easter Bunnies I made for my niece's.
They we're crocheted, easy and fun to make. Oh and also quick!!

Chemo hat with scarf

I have just finished these two hats for my sister in law who is currently battling stomach cancer. I found the crochet pattern online and I really thought it was different to most chemo garments for the head.
You either find scarfs or hats but this pattern combines the two and the colours and scarf matches are endless really which is great.also having the scarf weaved in, you can pull the hat tighter or loosen it for your own comfort.

I think they make a great fashion head garment even without hair loss!
One hat too me about 2 days to complete but I could of finished it in a day without interruptions.

If you want to have a go at one click the link for the free pattern. But note that the pattern uses US crochet terms.

A Patriotic Knit

This is the small Union Jack Pillow I knitted for my eldest son for the UK's most patriotic year 2012. We celebrated the Queens Jubilee and of course the London Olympics.

The knit was quick and the Union Jack is Swiss darned onto the front. I was totally happy with this knit and my son loved it!

My first successful Crochet project.

I have been crocheting that long, maybe about a year. I found it really tricky at first. But once I got the hang of it I found projects can be really quick. Much quicker than knitting.

This is my first successful crochet project. A flower key ring! I got this pattern free from the Coats and Crafts uk website. So if you like it you can download the pattern here.

I would definitely recommend the pattern to a beginner.

Happy crocheting

Me!

Hi, I'm Rach.

A lover of knitting and crochet and other crafty delights. I am addicted to hidden object games which I play on my iPad. My iPad is an extension of me as are my knitting needles and a crochet hook.

I want this blog to document all the things that I make. I figured that  blogging the things I make would be easier than making up a scrap book.
